Lisa O'Connell has been working in the
floral industry for over 25 years.
The Story
The owners of Wallingford, Lisa & David O’Connell both grew up in Bendigo. Lisa completed her floristry apprenticeship at “Cut n Dried flowers” in Chancery Lane.
In 1992 they moved to Melbourne so David could complete his Batchelor of Engineering, while Lisa worked at “in full Bloom” South Melbourne.
Married in 1997 and having their first girl Lily,
they purchased their first house in Croydon where they lovingly restored an Edna Walling style garden.
2001 Amelia arrived and the decision was made to
move to the country.
November 2001 they purchased the property 'Wallingford' and began their first plantings at 'Wallingford Farm'.
